Courtney & Brent | Northwoods Maternity
2014 was filled with beautiful families, children, and babies! We had the opportunity to capture family portraits throughout Central Wisconsin and even photographed a sweet family from Central Utah. We photographed many new faces and watched as some of our 2013 Newborns became toddlers! Our hearts are full and we cannot wait to meet many more beautiful families in 2015.
It makes us tremendously happy when our wedding couples have babies! We are so thrilled Traci and Bill asked us to photograph their maternity photos while visiting family near Stevens Point for Easter weekend. Hank, their lovable first child, who just so happens to be a Saint Bernard will have a new baby brother in a few short weeks. Baby Billie will have two of the coolest parents on the planet and will certainly be showered with a multitude of slobbery kisses from his oversized big brother.
So excited for this family hope your days ahead are filled with peace and joy as you patiently await the arrival of your baby boy! We hope many of these images will adorn your home and his nursery.
Blessings,
The Stokes
Chris and Sam are expecting their first child. Katie and I captured their wedding last June and are so thrilled to see these two adding to their family. We were able to sneak away for a few minutes in the afternoon to capture these maternity portraits. The sun was out and the light was perfect. Looking forward to photographing their daughter in a few short weeks.
Mallory & Jared are expecting in just a few short weeks and wanted to capture her bump before their baby girl or boy arrives! With the colors just starting to change in the north woods, their outdoor maternity session was filled with color and the crisp smell of fall was in the air. A tree farm near their home served as the perfect location for their lifestyle portraits.
Crystal is expecting in a few months and has never had bump/maternity photographs taken. Her daughter Brin came along for the ride and we are sure glad she did. I know that some day these will mean a great deal to all those who discover them. This shoot has a slight vintage flare to go with the abandoned Utah Farm and rustic landscape. Crystal looks like she could be right off the pages of a 50’s lifestyle magazine. Her hair is killer.
There is something about the way the sun reflects off the earth out there that is so different from here in Wisconsin. I always wish I could have spend a few days just with my camera – like I did when I was a teenager. I use to shoot rolls of Fuji 400 film when I visited my family in Emery County, Utah. The muted colors and the desert is such a contrast to the landscape of the midwest. I hope to take on many more commissions in the west, maybe someday it will become my home away from home.
Enjoy!
