Katie and Steve wanted their wedding to be different. More than a ceremony and more than the average celebration. When I first heard that their plan was to get hitched on a baseball field I was all in. Me and baseball go way back and there is something about a baseball field that reminds me of my youth. Needless to say, their day was filled with baseball, brats, beer, and all things you would expect to witness at a baseball game. Awaiting his bride on home plate, Steve saw Katie for the first time in her stunning dress. Instead of flowers, the bride and the bridesmaids had their own unique clutches. As an untraditional bride, Katie filled her day with the things that mattered most and left the rest. They succeeded in avoiding much of the stress that can come with saying “I do.”  Apart from marring the girl of his dreams, Steve along with their closest friends and family were able to enjoy a laid back comfortable atmosphere on the Express Fan Deck.  A nephew and niece were the second best dressed of the day sporting suspenders and adorable smiles they kept Katie and I on our toes. With no official dinner, guests were free to watch the game and grab their choice of stadium-style food to go. After the Express won the game and fans left, a live band played late into the night; guests enjoyed having the entire baseball stadium to themselves in the company of this incredible couple with a rich history of love and friendship.

Thank you both for making us a part of your incredibly unique and meaningful day as you both married your best friend. We can’t help but smile as we look over your wedding photographs. May your life be filled with many more nights under the lights!
