 FAQs

  • We love naturally-lit, outdoor portraits that highlight true-to-life color, emotion, and energy. We also offer on-location studio lighting for a more dramatic or athletic editorial feel — especially popular with sports sessions. Our edits are vibrant, clean, and focused on enhancing natural skin tones and expressions.

  • We photograph just a few seniors per week, typically 2–3 hours before sunset for the best light. The earlier you book, the more flexible we can be with your desired date. We recommend booking 90+ days in advance, especially if you want hair and makeup included.

  • Just shoot us an email with:

    1. Your preferred session type

    2. A few date options that work for you

    Once we confirm your date and time, you’ll receive:

    • A confirmation calendar invite

    • Hair & makeup coordination (if included)

    • A digital contract via Agree.com

    • A payment link for your 50% retainer

    Final payment is due on the day of your shoot.

  • We always build in flexibility for weather. If skies aren’t cooperating, we’ll reach out by noon the day of your session to reschedule. If it starts raining during your shoot, we’ll shift to indoor portraits at our Medford studio. Either way, we’ve got you covered — and we’ll make sure you feel your best.

  • We love options! Plan for:

    • 3–5 outfits (depending on your session)

    • Flowy dresses, jeans, casual layers, and accessories

    • Sport gear, instruments, pets — anything that tells your story

    We’re happy to schedule a pre-session styling consult and share outfit inspo via Pinterest.

    Ladies: Think statement pieces, nails done, fun shoes
    Guys: Keep it clean and classic—button-ups, layers, good shoes
    💄 Pro hair & makeup is included in most sessions, courtesy of Bella Clean Beauty or a Salon of your choice - we cover it!

  • Once you book, we’ll send a quick questionnaire to help us plan. Ideally, we want you to take us to come of your favorite locations! We love to travel.

    We shoot:

    • In fields, forests, parks, riversides

    • Downtown & urban alleys

    • On your family farm or private property

    Want something totally unique? Let’s adventure and make it unforgettable.

  • Session length depends on your package, but plan for:

    • ~30 mins per outfit (plus time for travel + hair)

    • 1 hour for Classic, 2 for Signature, 3 for Adventure

    Need more time? We can always extend your session for $150/hour and include 25–30 more proofs per added hour.

  • Yes, please! We recommend bringing a parent or best friend — someone to hype you up, help with outfits, or just tag along for the fun. We even encourage them to hop in a few shots! or help us hold a few things!

  • Expect lots of movement, fun, and interaction. It’s less like posing and more like a conversation with a camera. We'll guide you through everything — from posing to finding your best light — all while making it feel totally natural. Also, expect to change on the fly!

    • You’ll receive an online proofing gallery 2–3 weeks after your session.

    • In-studio ordering sessions are available if you want personal help picking prints, albums, or wall art.

    • All ordered images include professional retouching.

    • Orders are placed during your viewing session and delivered within 4–6 weeks.

  • Average Total Investment

    Classic Session $900–$1,200 (Session + prints or digitals)

    Signature Session $1,500–$2,000 (Includes wall art or album)

    Adventure Session $2,000–$3,000 (Most popular: full gallery, canvas, album, grad cards)

  • Web-size social media images are included with every ordered portrait — perfect for sharing with friends and family!

  • We typically capture 200–400 images during your session. You’ll receive a curated proofing gallery with 75–125+ lightly edited images to choose from.

  • All ordered images are professionally retouched. Proofs are lightly edited for selection purposes only.

  • High-resolution digital files are included with certain collections or can be purchased separately. Unedited RAW files are not included.

  • Your session fee covers time, talent, editing of proofs, and the online gallery. All product or digital purchases are separate and apply toward the $500 minimum order.

  • Absolutely! You’ll receive a pre-session questionnaire where you can share your preferences. We also offer suggestions for both popular and more unique spots.

  • The $500 minimum order is in addition to your session fee. It ensures every client walks away with professionally finished artwork or images.
